There are various estimates for this. According the U.S. Census Bureau, the world population in the year 1000 was 254-345 million and 301-320 million in 1100.

However, according to Wikipedia it was 310 million in 1000.

Do the math and average out these figures to get the population in 1047.

Approx 300 million in 1200 I would guess checking prior 900 was the colsest year given before there was about 270 million probably in 1047.
