I have had mine two years now and they are making loud streaking noises. Is it time to replace?

You should replace your wipers at the major season changes, every six months or so. You should start, as a minimum, start winter with a new set.
If your wipers are leaving streaks on the windshield, then it is definately time to change them up. I usually take the best of the two old ones and keep it in thr trunk as an emergency spare when I replace mine.

The noises could mean that the rubber part of the wiper is warn down so much (or has simply slipped off the metal arm of the wiper) that the metal is scraping against the glass on your windshield. This is not good and could result in a scratched windshield. I'd check on this right away and replace the blades as soon as possible.

two years is a long time. don't you see streaks on the glass?

i would suggest replacing them every 6 months, in the spring for the heavy rains and again in the winter for the snow.

if the wipers you have, make noise, its time to change them

Fuse or a relay. Most cars, when you look at where the relays are will have the same relay for different items like headlights, wipers, etc. Check the numbers on the relays to make sure first. You can swap the relays to see if the one for the wipers is bad. Check for a bad fuse first. And don't put a larger fuse in just because it blew the old one. That's a sign something is wrong in the circuit (switch, motor, relay, grounded wire, etc.) and the wiring is made to handle only so much amperage.

I replace mine atleast once a year. Being in Queensland, we get alot of rain in summer (usually), so i change them just before summer. If your wipers are making noises, then yes change them.

Yes, is defenitely time to replace. Depending on location, can be changed up to every three months. Like here in Florida. But average, could be at most a year.

some "professionals" say atleast once ever four months, i generally give mine an inspection once they start blurring or making awkward sounds. if they are an inconvenience just replace them, or atleast the rubber inserts. they are not very expensive nor hard to install. some stores put them in for you free.

Whenever they get to the point where you turn them on to clean your windshield and they actually make it worse instead of cleaning it.
