It doesn't have to be gonorrhea or an STD - it can be something as simple as a prostate infection or thr results of medication.
Get to the doctor and get it checked.
It may be an infection or inflammation of the prostate. You need also to think about testicular cancer although it is not very common in men over 35. Check the testicles in the bath, cradle them with one hand and check the surface with the other. Look for lumps which may not be tender. Either way you need to go back to the doctor and have it sorted out.

If you're serious, you probably have an STD. Go to a doctor or planned parenthood and get tested...for everything!
