Even if you are not going out but are at home with the kids. After the kids are down, do you dress up for your husbands? As of now, I have no kids but my husband would like me to dress up for him, even if we just stay home.

By dressing up, I do not mean lingerie. I mean actually dressing up, in a nice dress, make-up, jewellery, hair-up, etc?

I have been married for 13 years and I have to say I still do so. I think just because you are married it do sent mean you have to stop dressing up for your husband even if you are just at home. I still dress up in nice sexy close for him but then again it has to work both ways. My husband also dresses up for me. In a marriage you have to keep up the romance even if you have children. We always seem to do so! You don't have to dress up for him every night but you should do it at least ounce or twice in the week. Good luck to you!!!

Yes, I know how to dress sexy (with and without dressing slutty; though I save the slutty for the bedroom; that's just me). Not so much a fashion diva here; I love a good pair of jeans and a tshirt..But I love dressing sexy as well..and it's always for me and possibly my man (if I have a man of course). It was fun playing dress up in Vegas and getting the looks. And 99% of the guys we encountered were totally cool. There's always that 1% that are jerky; and no, I really don't enjoy that type of attention. I don't eat all that up though, but yeah I'd be a liar if I didn't say it's nice sometimes. What's really nice ,too.and very unexpected is when you're in your 'bummy' clothes and no make up and a guy pays that type of attention. Just had a great encounter on an airplane like that several weeks ago and I'm still thinking about him :-)

Married Ladies: Do you dress up for your husbands?

2014-12-16 01:05:48 · answer #3 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Dress up to just walk around the house???? NO! I make sure I look nice. My mom always told me that the last thing a working man should see when he gets home from work is his wife in pajamas and dirty hair. She said she tried to always be dressed and presentable because he's been out all day seeing these nice women all dressed up for their business jobs. Ya know? Maybe that's something to think about to. I hope I helped! :)

yeah I do dress up but not extremely fancy just a nice summer dress or a nice skirt and top (is boiling hot here) and i don't do that just for him I do it for my self to... I think we should all take care of our bodies not be dirty and wear i don't know what super old shirt... and no my husband doesn't ask for anything like that he says he likes me the way i m but then again he doesn't have to :p so yeah if your husband ask you to dress up then do it if you want to...

Yes, I do, but there are different ways of dressing up. You can dress up in dress and heel but you can also dress up in some soft cotton booty shorts and a wife beater with no bra. A pair of lacy T- backs with matching bra. Just a short satin robe. Now around the house with the kids. A very cute pair of Capri sweats that fit my bottom just right and tank top with just enough cleavage so when he hugs me he gets a peak.

I read your question and it made me answer it. I am as the younger generation might say over the Hill, I am a mother of seven kids all married and grandmother of fifteen grandkids and a great grandmother of one, I have always dressed up for my husband, even from day one of our Married Life,he had always told me that he wanted me to look beautiful for him, then when the kids came he added the kids to the list, can you imagine looking pretty at my age, since we been married for 48, going into 49,yrs. of Married life, but I have always been as he says pretty when he came home from work. Even my grand kids like me to dress up and when I don't feel well, they usually know I don't feel well since Grandma as they say is sick. I hope this made your day.

No, I don't dress up to stay at home. My husband thinks I'm beautiful with no make-up and wearing jeans!

Sounds like a waste of valuable time and energy for you to dress up and do makeup and the whole nine, just for him to take it all back off again... I would say it would be perfectly acceptable, say for dinner, even at home, to dress up. Maybe do the whole candlelit dinner together thing, but otherwise not so much. Besides, I think it would just make me mad to have my hair hate me just to stay at home.

No. If I'm going to take the time to put on stockings and heels, he is going to take me out. However, right before he comes home from work I do take the time to brush my teeth again, so when I kiss him I'm fresh and minty.

I agree that one should be dressed cleanly thoughout the day, and not in PJs.
