Which one?

The astronomer, geographer and mathematician Claudius Ptolemaeus (Ptolemy); the Macedonian general Ptolemy I Soter, who founded the Egyptian dynasty, or one of his descendants; Ptolemy (son of Dorymenes); Ptolemy (son of Mennaeus); Ptolemaeus Chennus; Ptolemy (gnostic); Ptolemy I and II, one of the governors of Tusculum; Bernard Tolomeo (Italian spelling of Ptolemy, founder of the Olivetan Roman Catholic religious order; Tolomeo da Lucca, also known as Bartholomew of Lucca, historian and Dominican; or John Baptist Tolomei (Italian variant of Ptolemy), Jesuit theologian and cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. Or perhaps some other Ptolemy?

Edit: I'm still not sure which one you want. Perhaps Ptolemy II Soter? AKA Ptolemy IX Soter II and Ptolemy VIII Soter II, depending on the source. While I find nothing about him being an architect, there was considerable building credited to his reign. I haven't come up with anything about Ptolemy I Soter that has anything to do with architecture. Try this link about Ptolemy II Soter:
