My friend married one in Nov. So far I've heard that they are so much better than the materialistic American woman because they have so little over there and appreciate everything, no matter how small. Traditional too.

I think if you choose the right woman of any race and you work on the relationship your marriage can be good. I am married to a Visayan from Ozamiz City Philippines. I am 46 and she is 26. She is a wonderful wife and very loving and caring. She did not marry me for money since I am not rich. She did not marry me to leave her country either. She loves her country but will be migrating here as soon as our marriage visa is approved. As for the person who said pinays cant cook well....evidently they just dont have the taste for filipino food. I lived there and everyone woman who cooked for me was an excellent cook.

They are without a doubt excellent home makers, very loyal, attractive, caring, meticulously clean in all their habits ,however...........they are very jealous, possessive, sulk a lot when they don't get their own way, and once there latched onto you its the devils own job to get rid of them, they don't like sitting and discussing problems and there always wanting to support their families back home, that's not a bad thing as such, but it can become a problem and the one big thing I have found, they care more about their reputation than anything else, a trait very similar to the Chinese. If your thinking about it my friend be very careful!!

Any woman would make a good wife, if you love her for the right reasons. Race has nothing to do with it.

Fillipino women are usually not good at cooking. If you want your wife to cook well, I don't think they can be a good wife. I have some experience with their cooking skills.

What does a "good wife" exactly mean? Just because she's foreign and doesn't speak the language you think she will be subserviant to you and you can manipulate her into being your slave or threaten her with stuff you know you can't do but do it anyway because she isn't aware of the laws!

All the Filipinas in my family like to spend money LOL and they do make good wives, just not the type you can order around. They will kick your bum and not think twice about it....
