Oh yeah and if this doesn't make best answer well I can't wait to see what does. See my mom told me my dad was my real dad and get this......when I was 20 I found out he's not!! He was just as surprised as I was. See I realized somwhere along the way two blue eyes people can't have a brown eyed child so we had a paternity test and surprise surprise!!

Now that I am a parent yeah and no cuz my baby makes the "parent" come out of me you the one saying.. "I will not be like you"... then it hits you some things you do agree with them, some you don't. we are just humans trying to express ourselves in the most sanely way possible parents too. Just remember this parent really do want to give you everything they can...some don't have $$$, some want you to earn it, others like you to think more...

I am 56 yrs old and I remember back , way back we were traveling to Arkansas from California I was about ten and at one of the Stuckies restaurants " gas station",my parents told me to go to the bathroom by myself, when I came out the were gone.
They had told me go ahead we will be here when you get out.

When I was a kid, I'd get mad at my folks for being mean and say that I was sure I'd been adopted...their response?
"Yes, you WERE adopted. Your real mother died years and years before your were born."

OH YEAH! I remember asking my mom where we came from, and I remember her shocked face with embarrasment then to tell me that I came out her BUTT. I remember now trying to go on day after day for a long time after that knowing that I came out my mothers ***. It was AND STILL IS very hard to believe...............................................

i think when you have your own kids you will see that this is actually true for parents who are punishing kids.
but santa, easter bunny, stork, etc. are often lies parents tell kids.
