I got gifts today, because tomorrow is my birthday. I got some Ramekins and a torch, so I can make Creme Brulee, a book on making bread, and some recipes, a gift certificate to take a cooking class at a cooking school and an automatic wine opener and a bottle of wine. It was a great birthday party!

It was the second week of November.
My best friend came up from Louisiana to stay with me and do some shopping in Dallas. I took her around for a week. I was broke and while we were in a store she found this beautiful champagne clored satin bustier top with silver and crystal beading all over it.
She knew I would love that, so she showed it to me. I almost died and so she bought it for me.
I love my best friend and she loves me. If that doesn't prove it, nothing would.
By the way, you read correctly. I didn't get anything for Christmas. I guess you could say, Sarah, and that beautiful top was a gift enough.

Well I have been pretty sick the last few months - two surgeries and got infections from the hospitals (I have been inside on the sofa every day) sooo my sister sent me a quilt she hand made for me. She had a note in it that said "I hope this quilt keeps you warm when you are cold and makes you feel all the love we have for you" It was wonderful and made me cry. It was beautiful.

An internet friend on the other side of the world in Beijing sent me a cashmere scarf for the cold winter. So thoughtful, and a beautiful scarf too.

Me was a gift card from Nordstrom, Christmas present and was my boss...I Almost forgot real pearl of earings with a diamond the are pearls from Hawaii special place my boss too and is nothing going on trust me he don't like gals ok I use them almost everyday...I love them

the last time someone bought me a gift was christmas my sister gave me a makeup bag, some really cute earrings, and she gave me some cash... i love my sister to death, lol.

My daughter bought me an Amethyst and diamond earrings and necklace for Christmas.She and her family brought it and gave it to me personally.they live in florida and i'm in Georgia.So i got an extra special gift.....the gift of love.
