I have a sofa and chair that have been sitting in my garage for over a year. I have been saving it for my little sister who just moved into her own apartment. I am ready to give it to her, but I am concerned that bugs may now be in the furniture since it's been sitting in the garage all this time. (I have seen spiders and other creepy crawly things in the garage since I've been living here.) I don't want her to bring it to her new apartment and have bugs crawling out of it. Any ideas?

If it's in your garage, and you can close that off, drag the sofa to the center and set off a bug bomb. Just follow label directions. Let it sit a few hours... maybe do while you're at work or soemthing? The added benefit is no buggies in yoru garage when you're done!
