I can relate. Now I know you probably heard this a million times but this is what you should do. Talk to her. Your conversation should go like this.
You- Mom?
Mom- Yes Sweetie
You- Can I talk to you
Mom- Ofcourse, what's wrong?
You- Well I would appreciate it if you stopped coming into my room so often, I know you're doing your job as a mom and I know that's normal, but believe me when I say I'm fine and if I need you I will call you.
Mom- Are you sure
You- I'm positive.
Mom- Okay
You- I love you mom
Mom- I love you too
* You go back to your room *
You may think your mom feels sad but trust me she doesn't. I think she's happy that you opened up with her and told her how you feel and that you ended the conversation with a " I Luv You ".

1. Look up "crate training." It works, and isn't that difficult, requires mostly persistence and patience. 2. Don't worry, small to medium sized dogs take up almost no space at all. 3. A big dog is better with little kids, but will take up some amount of space. A medium sized dog will work pretty well. Try a west highland terrier, or similar. A grown up dog that's been treated right, won't bite a little kid no matter what -- they know a child is different from an adult, and will move away instead of getting defensive. Young pups need a bit of training, they require supervision around small children. The brother isn't going to be a little kid forever. 4. You need some supplies and shots up front, then annual boosters and food after that. People are all the time selling their used crates on craigslist pretty cheap. You don't need expensive toys. Shelter dogs are cool, but with small children in the house, beware of any adult dog when you don't know its background. For a family pet, you don't need a fancy pedigree, or a dog who looks like a showdog. In fact, look around you can find puppies available for free, or just a fee to cover medical costs.

Maybe she is just doing what ALL parents do: worrying that you're doing alright in life. Maybe something has caught her attention recently? Maybe she wants to talk to you because she feels like the two of you are too distant but doesn't know how to talk? Maybe she just misses her baby and wants to be close! Try talking to her and explaining how you feel (in a nice un-offensive way) and ask her if she's worried about you and if so why? I know it seems like she's really annoying you, but it's most likely because she loves you SO much. No matter how old you get, you will always be her little baby...

Maybe your reaction to her is enough reason for her coming around all the time is why she continues to do it. Maybe she feels like that gives her a reason to "catch you in the act" regardless of you doing anything or not. Like someone else said, atleast you've got a Mother that cares about you and is in your business than one who doesn't care about your well-being. I would try talking to you Mom, let her know what's going on in your life and give her a reason to trust you and let her know where you are coming and maybe she will appreciate you for being honest with her and see that her little girl is growing up and admire that and give you some space. Give it a try and see how that helps! GOOD LUCK!!!

You need to ask her to come to your room and have a little talk.
Tell her you know theres something on her mind because shes coming into your room like all the time. Ask her if you did something that made her not trust you. Tell her if there is something she needs to ask then to just come out and ask you because you have nothing to hide. A little sympathy goes a long way with a parent. She loves you and wants to protect you.

Maybe you need to sit down and chat with her sometimes. She's probably feeling left out of your world. I know you just want your space right now, but in order to get it, you might have to give up 1/2 an hour a few times a week.

Sounds like my mom. She is just always making sure your okay. She may be worried about something...but i know where you are coming from. Maybe as you grow older your slowly but surely parting from her and she misses being with you. Maybe you could sit down with her someday and tell her you need a little space...polite though..she is your mother after all. Best of Luck to you and your mom.

Have you done anything in the past to warrant her being overly watchful toward you?
Has your family undergone any loss lately, such as a relative, friend, or neighbor?
Have you been behaving quite differently?
Perhaps speaking with your mom about her concerns and yours will clear the air.
One thing for sure, you know she really cares about you.

The people, here on Yahoo answers, are not the ones you should be talking to about this. You need to talk to your mother! Ask her why she's doing this and please don't confuse concerned with 'getting into your business' - remember, you live under her roof so anything you do is her business.
You may also, learn to leave your door open all of the time - this way there's no mystery to anything.................

Be thankful you have a mother who cares, stop being so selfish, share your life with her a little and she might not feel the need to check up on you every 10 minutes!
