The Chilli peppers did a great cover of Havana Affair by the Ramones. You should DEFINITELY check that one out. My favorite album...wow...so many...almost impossible....London Calling by The Clash, Surfer Rosa by Pixies, More Songs About Buildings and Food by Talking Heads, Marquee Moon by Television, The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society by The Kinks to name a few.

The Chilis had covered a lot of songs. John Frusciante had too. Wanna check out? http://www.redhotchilipeppers.it/discography/covers.asp Most commercial covers that are also on albums are "Loverollercoaster" from the Ohio Players, yes! the Beavis and Butthead soundtrack, and "Fire" from the guitar god Jimi Hendrix. There are a lot more, check the site.
A lot of bands had covered Red Hot Chili Peppers, I have a Latinamerican album called "Ají Putaparió" with a lot of bands and a lot of good cover songs. A commercial cover could be the main riff from "Pretty Little Ditty", and it was almost "stolen" by Crazy Town for their song "Butterfly".
My fav album is Blood Sugar Sex Magik. I love Chili Peppers old stuff. They were the most rocking band, they're still, but... I like the old times. BSSM has a unnique style, funk metal sounds, great guitar and bass jobs. Songs like "Sir Psycho Sexy", "Blood Sugar Sex Magik", "Give it Away", "Breaking the Girl", "Mellowship Slinky in B Major" blowed out my mind. And don't forget their past albums, Mother's Milk is so ******** good! also Freaky Styley, TUMPP. One Hot Minute is great too. Their new stuff is ok, i like Californication. But By the Way and Stadium Arcadium are not their best.
Cheers.

Not relatively a RHCP man. Mother's Milk and BSSM are very well documents, however all in all their early stuff does not transfer me and I do not consider their stuff after the ones documents minus a music or 2 relatively... I do not know. I consider they simply misplaced it someplace alongside the road. Favorite track: at this second, Naked In The Rain BQ: First couple documents had been relatively well. From there he is style of hit or miss for me. It feels just like the leave out ratio will get larger as time is going on. Asbury Park is strong although. Darkness on the Edge of Town too. BQ2: It's well, thanks. Hopefully going to perform a little paintings within the studio if the whole thing traces up correct. Try to get our list performed within the subsequent couple months right here (hands crossed). BQ3: Brings me again. I like that one. BQ4: I'll have a appear...

I know they covered "Love Rollercoaster" by the Ohio Players. Now, who covered them, I'm not sure. Unless you're talking about that crazy cover by Weird Al Yankovich.
