Wait why? I'm a girl, so obviously I've never done it. And I don't think I ever saw a guy do it either. Maybe I would forgive the guy if it was really really really hot day, but otherwise I'd be a little disturbed.

As long as park security doesn't say anything but shirts will be required to ride the rides, so the shirt would have to be carried over the shoulder or in a backback.
