I would call the waiter , or even the restaurant supervisor nicely, and tell him that the steak given to me is the wrong steak. It might have been meant for another customer. I would still only eat what I ordered.

Never, ever, ever send back a meal or complain about a meal at a business function. That is a big "no no" in the executive world. I don't care of they brought you somthing completely opposite from what you ordered, deal with it and then get something else after you leave the meetingf but never ever complain about it.

This is something that may seem small but sending it back will be something that wil be remembered by everyone who was at the table with you. Remember, you are there for business

if i was at a business lunch i would just eat it and not complain... i would secretly be very happy though, because well done steaks are the best... :)

i would do the obvious......send it back and hope nobody spits in it.
