I've seen it done - my son has done it several times to make a wax casting of his hand. A local renaissance fair sells these. They hold their hands in cold water for several minutes, then dip in melted white wax several times to build up a coat. Then they can dip into several different colors, to make a multi-colored casting. It's kinda cool, actually.

Are you referring to Paraffin Hand Wax? Cause then yes but if you mean just regular hot wax...I'm going with ah NO. I would imagine you run the risk of burning your hand.

I have placed both my hands and feet in a parafin (sp?) wax and then covered them in plastic. It is very relaxing and excellent for smooth and soft results.

no because yuo'd have to wax it and yuo'd have to find way to get the wax off from under yuor nails and everything
