It could be, depending on how much she is eating. I would switch to another litter though. Don't use clay cat litter. If they eat that it will definately be harmful. Don't use shavings either as the aromas from them are harmful to their respritory systems.
I use feline pine which is made from kiln dried pine to remove the aromatic odors. It works great. If you have a feed store nearby, you could ask about wood pelleted horse stall bedding. That is basically the same thing. It works great and it's cheap.
Another alternative would be putting some kind of a grate ontop of the litterbox. Some people use flourescent light grids. I use this plastic screen I got from the craft store that is made for needlepoint.
I have the litter underneath the screen. The poo's stay on top and the urine goes through. That helps me clean up the poo's and scoop out the urine-soaked litter without scooping out the dry litter along with the poo's.
Good luck!

I don't think a little bit will hurt her. I use crumpled newspaper as a toy for my rabbits, just not all the time. They just love shredding and tossing it around. If it does concern you or she's eating a lot try changing her litter to a non-clumping, non-clay based cat litter. Personally I prefer a paper based one as I just toss it in my compost heap to break down.

Newspaper isn't harmful, my bunnies always eat it. There are other litter options available. I use the litter pellets from Petsmart. Just remember to NEVER use clay cat litter it can block their intestines.

yes it is harmful to her!
the newspaper will be swelling in her tummy also the ink of the paper isnt the best thing to have inside a rabbit!
i would switch to cat litter or dirt its alot easier and safer plus using dirt would be cheaper.
good luck

i don't think so, it didn't hurt my rabbit. but i recommend changing to ABM animal bedding. it soaks up a lot more than other things because it's generally used for horses and it elimenates oder until after a few weeks. and i hope you change the littler sooner than that. :)

Not that I know of. My rabbit does it. You can change the litter the regular cat litter though.
