I agree with Sunny 442; it's tough competition and can be disappointing at times. Music business management is a good course to study, if things don't work out for you as a rapper, you can always manage artists or be involved in music production etc. The more you learn about the business, the more opportunities you'll have in case plan A fails. It's good to have a back-up plan. Study for your passion and keep rapping. Good luck.

im not gon waste my time readin these otha ones but ima be real wit ya my parents had these high expectations of me bein a doctor or lawyer or wateva but i decided at the age of 7 to be in the muzik industry and never looked back... if u truly love wat u do, wat others think shouldnt matter.....if ur havin doubts then dont do it, but if u kno for a fact without a doubt there is nothin more u wanna do than be in the muzik industry then do it cause u love it AGE has nothin ta do wit it its all about ur passion. FOLLOW UR HEART cause it will be broken by people along the way if ur not confident in doin this

No you should not. You should go to college and study music. And by music I mean production music bus. and so forth. Most young rappers get JERKED when they first enter. May I remind you of the lox and puffy he own them for life. Look at jibbs they gave him a chain and he rocks a Timex watch. Get smart honey Puffy got money cause he went to school and learned how to own people.

if you really believe in you, then yes continue the journey. LL Cool J started rapping at 16. Jibbs is 16 and he's a rapper. there are tons more artists out there who started out young. if u really really want it and u feel that it's yours and that no body can take that sh!t away from you, then continue. props to you bud

Ya homie Biggie was like 19 when he started rapping. I personally think you have to live life and then you have events in your life that influence the lyrics in raps
