http://www.PromDressShop.com sells worldwide and has sold dresses to Cancun. Cancun is more commercialized and you'll find a lot of hotels and swimsuites and Senior Frogs. I don't remember seeing any dress stores.

CANCUN HAS ALOT OF STORES AND ALL TYPES OF DRESSES AND STUFF.
I STILL LIKE THE U.S. MALLS BETTER CAUSE AFTER ALL,,,, 95% IS BOUGHT HERE AND SOLD OVER THERE FOR 40% MORE.

You will find stuff there for great prices, make sure you are ready to barter. Textiles is a big Mexican export, with lots of skilled tailors/seamstresses, you should be able to get something. Don't forget to leave room in your luggage.

tons of places to buy dresses! Take the bus..it is lots of fun and you can meet lots of guys on it
