If you plant 99,999 bells with the golden shovel u will grow bells! 1000 bells means 1 percent that the tree will grow so 70 000 means 70% it will grow.

I believe it makes things grow easier. But you need to first cut down a tree with the axe, then use the golden shovel to dig up the tree stump, bury the item in that hole and then cover.

It sucks,all it does is RARE times,digs up 100 bells.Just like the Gamecube version only this happened ONE time to me.BUT you can actually it can make money trees grow! It depends on how much money you bury though.For example,I buried 78,000 bells before.It grew 30,000 bells MULTIPLIED by three.But once you pick the money off,it doesn't grow back!Oh,my friend code is 0473-3380-7789.

OH i play that and i have 1 too. i don't think it does anything cuz i have look for cheats for it but i think all it is just to look cool or some then....and it only sells for about 230 belles its stupid but yeah maby i haven't seen it do anything yet SO yeah.
