We have both been through hell and back to finally be together after three years of trying....everything was sunshine and roses until we wrote the check for the caterer (my friend, BIG discount). Please tell me it's just cold feet...........? He is tying flies right now.

Some people freak out when they write large checks. My ex-husband would act weird every time. Don't make a big deal out of it, just go on as usual. Give him a day, he'll be fine.

When we contemplate the future..I imagine it's supposed to be scary. It's perfectly normal..and even desired. Those last minute jitters can protect us from making sorry decisions, or prompt us to make the best decisions of our lives.

if he was that frantic about it he would not be tying flies he would be pacing the floor, he has cold feet

Tying flies takes patience.

yes, its nerves. i guess cus it didnt work before, they might be getting cold feet, and thinking that it might not work this time, should u get married. just keep reassuring him that u understand the fear. tell him u are fearful too. that should comfort him.

Don't worry about laying out lots of money. Sometimes it just has to be done.
