The average score is about 1500-1550.
On the SAT I it was 1000-1050
On the old SAT it was 950-1000

the average for each part is 500, so in the old one the total average score was 1000, and in the new one its 1500

I just took mine recently.. and I found out that 1500 is the national average....... its out of 2100... so i'd say if you get an 1800 or so you are doing really well and just shoot for a 1500

are you talking about the new sat test on the old one?
