I've made a 150% profit on my orignal investment and with Bush tax cuts I get to keep even more of it. I hope we stay in Iraq for a long time.

If you all would like to make some good money get ready to "short" that means bet that the price of Halliburton stock will go down because when Bush starts withdrawing troops Hallburton profits will drop substantially and so will their stock price. Every country club Republican like me is getting ready to do sell it short so you might want to do it too?

it makes me kick myself that I didn't see this coming... it was painfully obvious... the day after 9-11 everyone with a brian should've went out and invested in military companies...
I don't approve of what's going on... but someone's going to make the money either way...

I've done very well with HAL as well. They're a classy, well-run corporation.
The Left simply hates it because the Vice President was the CEO at one point. Of course, they'd hate Barbie if he had been the CEO of Mattel, so I don't lose much sleep worrying about that.
