By being just as accepting of your "dorky" ones. If you treat them with respect and defend them if your "regular" friends get attitudes, you will show how much you care for all of them.

You might not be able to. Probably not.
In high school I had the same two types of friends and it worked out very well, even though the two groups were separate.
To say the least, you will be kept busy juggling the two but it's worth it.
Turns out, years later, the dorky friends were the ones that remained at my side to this day and they are no longer dorky but some of the cool ones turned out to become dorky later.
Interesting, huh?

tell your other friends(not dorky ones) that if they don't except your new friends, they aren't excepting you. a true fiend wont care about who your other friends are, just who you are. I had the same problem- this worked well and both groups seemed to cope pretty well.

So the "dorky" ones aren't nice?
Frankly, you can't make anybody accept anybody else. They have to want to. But you CAN insist that they are polite to each other when you are around.
But if your so called "nice friends" are rude to your other friends, I have a feeling your misspelling is more correct, and they are "regular fiends".

Just tell your "nice" friends that if theyre your true friends, then they should accept your "dorky" friends.. and that maybe they can both find something good in each other and it could work out.. =]

If they won't accept them then they aren't true friends to you. If they care to much about their "popularity status" to be seen with a dorky person they're not a true friend. It may sound mean, but it's true.

If your "nice" friends don't accept someone simply because they're "dorky", then they aren't very nice are they?

It may help to expose them to each other to maybe try and identify some similarities. Maybe music, hobbies, etc. If that doesn't work then try to have them gradually hang out amongst each other and you take the role to kind of involve everybody in discussions, jokes, and see how that develops.
