I cried twice yesterday.
1) My teenage daughter and I googled "Panda Sneezes" last night and we laughed so hard we cried.
2) My mother-in-law asked me to take a gift to a lady that helped my father-in-law in the care center where he spent his last weeks. I was there everyday with him and watched him as he grew weaker and weaker. Unlike most fathers-in-law, mine was a sweet, gentle, loving man who treated me like a daughter and I loved him dearly. I am happy to take the gift to the sweet lady who helped dad, but I am sure that walking through those doors will bring back a flood of memories that will be difficult to relive.
...and I am crying now.

It's been about a month. I was crying because I was remembering the happy times I had with my ex. He had called to say Merry Christmas and that he missed me and it opened up all the old wounds I had.

Until I was 13.
I was kept being hit by my parents.
After I beat up my dad at 15 they stopped.
I'm currently 16.
I can't wait to leave my house.
It's so uncomfortable.

Ouch...and make me look like a wuss? Pfft...Alright, I won't cheat you like that. Um...I almost did last week. I was working on this one part where my main character was feeling utterly alone and in despair. So...I had to feel it...and as I was writing it...oh yes, it started to get to me.
