Why do people have such problems with rednecks or just really countryfied people? Not all of them are stupid!!

It's nothing against rednecks or people raised in the country. If you listen to those redneck jokes, it's just poking fun at a stereotype. I think we all have a little redneck in us and there's nothing wrong with that. And believe me, you can find stupidity in all walks of life.

They are afraid of what's different, and they know full well that living in the city doesn't mean anything, so they take out their own self-frustrations on the people living in more rural areas.

it is not that they have problems with them it is that they are easy targets and america laughs at their accent.
