i get my dad loves me and stuff but...hes a lilttle out there. My neighbor will ask me if i want to hang out or something and ill say i cant. After my neighbor leaves me dad will throw a fit about how i cant hang out with guys. Once i went trick or treating and he told me if i see any boys to call mom and she'll pik me up. ?????helppp..

dads are always protective of their daughters. that's because they remember all the things they went thru to get a girl and how when they were your age they'd try anything to get in girls' pants.
so when dads see guys trying to pick you up, they know what's on the guys mind & they don't like it.

cause he knows how alot of the boys out there all they are looking for is sex so are alot of me the trick is to find a good guy and get to know him and ur dad will get off your back

talk to him that you should beable to hang out with boys and tell him you appreciate his concern but want him to losen up a little. if he doesnt you might start pulling away more and more from him and when your 18 youll leave and never speak to him and he might be depressed or mad at you for (as he sees it) being foolish

My daughter is 18 and I am starting to worry about her dating, becasue now she is dating strangers. I want to get their SS number, drivers licence, I am just a worried mom, but she is grown up now and I need to let her go. Parents are just worried about their baby girls, let him worry for now, you will be on your own way too soon.

he's just being a dad. dads are very protective of little girls. I'm not saying your little but to him you'll always be his lil girl. One day it will all make sense.
