My laptop meets the maximum system requirements of WINDOWS VISTA HOME BASIC, but I'm not sure if I can run it because Microsoft Vista Upgrade Advisor says Home Basic is not best for laptop because of some Windows Mobility Center thing... Can I run it anyway? Oh, by the way, CAN I upgrade from XP Pro to Vista Home Basic?

Check to see if your laptop meets the minimum specs required to run Vista. If it does, then you'll be able to run Vista, although some features may not work. I'm not aware that Microsoft is releasing a version of Vista that is tailored for laptops, so I'd have to say that Vista Basic would be your only choice.

You can upgrade from XP Pro to Vista, if you pay Microsoft for the Vista license.

Vista is made for laptops and computers with an truly intense end hardwares. So, my suggestion is don no longer set up Vista on your computer. extra information: in case you upgraded your computer/computer to a vista like minded hardware, nonetheless do no longer set up Vista at present. watch for the first service %. to go back out. in many cases the first shoppers of an opertating gadget are attempt dummys for some insects.

Cool Vista is out. Uhh i dont think it would harm ur laptop, but try to back up data that way u can recover it. I know that when I tried to install it- certain programs wouldn't work so I'm just waiting for the ultimate or some better ones. You can also Disk Partition to only have it install on a certain drive or something. Lemme know how it goes. sag627@yahoo.com (obviously)
