i have one skein of eyelash yarn and a complimentary worsted weight yarn to match.
what can i make besides a scarf or hat.
i want to use this yarn and finish a project without having to buy more of the same kind.

Hard to say. How much do you have left?
Maybe you could make a pair of mittens or slippers where the eyelash is the cuff and the worsted is the body of the slipper/mitten?
I've done that several times.

You can use the eyelash yarn to make cuffs for a sweater you already have. Just knit a few inches with it then attach the cuffs to the sweater. You can make a collar also. Have you checked out the diynetwork.com? They've got free patterns for an iPod holder and other simple projects.

Eyelash yarn DOES make killer legwarmers. Actually, besides a scarf I made with leftovers, that's the only thing I've ever made with eyelash yarn.
It could also make a nice small bag.

You can make some cute cuffs, like the ones shown here:

Or for a more girly version, shorter but with a ruffle around the top (knit in the round to the length you want, then do a row of kfb in each stitch, then a row even, then a row kfb till the ruffle is the length you want it to be.)
You could also do a headband, a cell or ipod cozy, a small purse (similar to this one, perhaps: http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/PATTtinsel.html), a teapot cozy, or use as trim on a boring cardigan you have hanging in the back of your closet.

A small purse...use the worsted weight for the body of the bag and the eyelash as trim at the top.

you can make a cute doiley, you can use this as a center piece on a table, place a plate or vase on top with candles or flowers that would compliment the colors in the yarn
