I was just thinking about this a little while ago. Music has gone from something that took great skill to produce to being able to produce songs on computers and can be brought anywhere in an mp3 player, no need to go to a concert (necessarily). No more calculating in one's head, calculators have come and evolved. TV is becoming more sleek, and sometimes more portable. The artisans are slowly disappearing, being replaced by factories and machines. Thinking has been left to the dreamers and philosophers, everyone is plugged into some piece of technology, whether it be a TV, computer, mp3 player or video game.

Where do you think our world is headed?

As long u keep asking that question to everybody, going up. Why?...... because asking that question jus lik u said will make a person relize the essence of communication and the gift of seeing, felling, or hearing one's artistic forms. Pleez bring that one up in ur next conversation.

I think that ur right, and that there is way to much of a need for "convienience" and technology in this world today. Did you know that people are starting to chose the genetic material of their children before they are born, in essence "personalizing" them? I think that the world will continue on its way to destroying itself if our generation doesn't do something. It's up to us. I saw a T-shirt once that said something along the lines of "Only when every tree burnt down, every field paved over, will we realize that we can't eat money" Peace out (and check out the websites below of you wanna learn more about "gene therapy" and where it's headed.

There's a lot of beauty in the world..you just chose to focus on what's disappearing instead of the positives that are appearing.

Straight to hell, honey.
I'm an artist. Do you know how hard it is to find someone that appreciates something handmade (sketched, I should say) anymore? Half of everything involves computers. It's dissapointing.
