Ah, one of the great questions of life ... one I hope to answer for myself, as well.
First, I would start to study your abilities; what you are good at. Also look at what you like. These two concepts should be the basis of your decision. After all, you should get a job that you would be good at and at the same time enjoy, right?
Let's say you're good at making people feel good. You also enjoy talking with people. Psychologist? Psychiatrist? Counselor?
It might be pretty easy to find the best career for you after you figure out what you're good at and what you like.
Or a simple alternative is a career test. There are plenty online ones. Career tests will not only help you find a suitable career, but it will also ask you questions to help analyze yourself.

First maybe you should prepare a self analysis called SWOT. S-personal strengths, W-personal weaknesses, O-Opportunities, and T-Threats. This will give you some insight into what you are good and and like to do.
Next, What are your passions? What do you like to do? Where would you be able to do the things you like to do?
There's a book called "Careers for Dummies" It's pretty interesting and a good book to look at for ideas too.
Good Luck

What do you love doing? What is super easy for you to do that others find difficult? What type of people do you enjoy being around? If you knew there was no way you could fail, what would you do? There you have it. Go with God. Be blessed.

Whatever you may choose try to make sure it will be something you'll enjoy. You'll be more productive and/or succesful if it is something you truly enjoy. Good Luck!
