No its really good, sad, funny, and a good "couple" movie!

I just finished the book. It is definitely not a chick book so I doubt it's a chick flick! It is about the value of hard work, determination, & perseverance! It was awesome!! The book had some fairly bad language, but it helped to put everything into context. The man actually met Nelson Mandela!! So, not a chick flick!

It's OK. Super depressing. And predictable as usual. Save your money and catch it on DVD or TV.
I can't understand how people can thnk it is a feel good movie. The guy goes from bad to worse, then finally (predictably) success. His downfall kept dragging on. Such movies have been done to death. Sorry to say but these latest films are losing originality.
Just my thoughts.

pursuit 0of happyness was a great movie that would appeal to guys or girls... it it is one of my personal favorites, and my brothers (he hates chick flicks)

No I'd recommend it to my guy friends although more as a rental. Movie prices in NY are crazy so its more of a rental.

NO!!!!!!!!!!! Its a very good movie about the value of hard work and going after your dreams, no matter what oppositions you may face.

Absolutely not! It's not a feel good movie either! (seriously it's not) but it's awesome! I recommend this movie to everyone.
