I don't think it's the sound of the voice so much as what that voice is saying and how you are interpreting it. In the case of long distance relationships, you start basing your feelings on what you are hearing on the phone and on-line. Yet, it's not real until you say it in person, so you may end up hurting that voice or being hurt by that voice once you are in person.

Yes. You can tell so much from a person's voice. It reveals where they are coming from, attitude, sincerity. They say that the eyes are the window to the soul, but I think the voice is the stethescope. Too many times I've talked to the opposite sex over the phone and became attracted to them because of their voice, only to be disappointed by the physical attraction. It's not that I didn't like them any less, but the primary attraction was through their voice.

Yes, I have... and it ruined my life... I used to work w/ this guy and had to transfer because of it...Even today when I hear him after couple of years it just drives me crazy I am still so in love ....
But it only happened once so far in my lifetime that I fell in love with someone's voice...I do wonder if it happens often to other people???

hahaha.. oh man, hell yeah.
Matter of fact, someone liked me before just because of my birthday, which falls on 29 Feb, 4 years once. He said that it's a special day.
In this world, anything can happen. But good question there.

This may be possible but usually not the case.... To me if you dont love someone for all of them than it is not real love anyway.

yes, in long distance relationships. You dont a full picture of the person and can end up ruining your life.
