As far as I have read, Gandhiji stood for Truth. Therefore, asking in ANY AGE, whether Truth is relevant is in itself a ridiculous question. All of us know inner peace (without which it is impossible to know what enjoyment in life is) is not possible witthout truth.

The truth is most of us are liars, and have started glorifying ourselves by our lies (See Jethmalani!). I think the question should be 'why have we become so deprave that we starrted questioning Truth?'.

Through this question I have not meant to hurt anyone, but simply said that even if I do wrong things, I shall still call right deeds as right deeds and not make fun of them.

Gandhi ji was a seeker of Truth, and truth demands courage, and that is not very much popular these days. How many of us can truly acknowledge our dark side anyways. Because only then the light can emerge, from within.

These days we are busy pointing fingers at our people's darkness, and expect them to change, without first spotting the same, in ourselves.

And sure enough, nothing changes in ourselves or in the world around as Gandhi ji truly pointed out - "We must be change we wish to see in the world."

As the Lord says in Geetha as and when there is decline of righteousness and rise of untruth, He will appear to save the humanity. In the line of such great sages who appeared for effecting corrections Gandhiji was one. He was relevant at that time of need to lead this Country.Nothing is static life and time changes. But Truth is eternal and on the foundation of which the entire world stands and functions.

Gandhiji was a seeker of truth and lived obeying the known truths. There are few politicians today who speak truth. But they cannot live in it and they fail to stand for it when the true occasion arise. They are cowards.

Gandhiji will glitter in the mind of truth seekers irrespective of ages we pass. Those who judge him does not think about the time time he lived.

Most of us condemn others when they live beyond our wisdom. Gandhiji lived far beyond our thinking even decades before. He developed a mind that we cannot imagine, century before.
