Well, you are right that college isn't for everyone. Have you considered going into a trade or doing an aprenticeship? You could try being something like an electrician. It's a valuable and under appreciated job that does not require a degree. Electricians aren't so bad off financially either.
I'm Canadian, so I don't know if other countries have this, but our community colleges offer usually one or two year non-degree diplomas that will train you towards an intended job. Degrees are not so goal directed, but clearly have their value for many. Now, you won't be rich, but you won't be working at a fast food place either and you should find something to allow for you to be financially comfortable and that's all you need anyways. If you find yourself unhappy or unable to advance in your career, there is always the option to go into a three or four year degree program. Universities are not opposed to accepting older students or 'mature students' who do not have the normal requirements for acceptance.

Well, good paying....is relative. With no college at all I would say the trades are probably your best bet in terms of pay. That is to say construction trades or automotive can pay decently well and you can, through hard work, eventually have your own business. That said these are tough jobs that are demanding physically. But if you work hard, show up on time and are eager to learn you can have a successful career. But the trades are, for better or worse, very male-dominated and it can be very hard for a women to advance, but some women are very successful in trades.
Another option is law enforcement, paramedic and nursing. These are all career paths that typically only require a two year associate's degree. Law enforcement, though dangerous, can pay very well. Nurses are in high demand and can make good salaries. Also as a nurse you can return to school mid-career to become a nurse practitioner.
Now, that said, college isn't that bad and it instantly improves your earning potential. But you don't NEED a degree to be successful.

The thing is money is made by risks. You do not need a degree to make money. You need common sense and courage. If you think about it, a heart surgeon or a criminal lawyer, won't ever be billionaires or millionaires. This just proves it. BUT a business person CAN. All the billionaires or millionaires in this world are ALL businessman/woman. You just have to know how to play your cards right and know what is needed. If you find what is in NEED, you'll make lots of money.
So your choices are business or real estate.

Here is a serious answer: If you are asking this question, it is unlikely that you will get a good career. Careers are made by learning and by working hard, not by looking for the easy way out.
It is possible to have a good career without a four year degree (just ask Bill Gates or Kobe Bryant about this one) -- but it is rare that it happens. You really need a Bachelor's Degree to break into most professions.

More than likely you wont get a good paying job without college. The only way is if you are really good at sports or acting, which they prefeer people to go to college, or writing.
Your question gives me the suggestion that you don't like to work hard so more than likely you wont get a good job without college.
My own cuirosity why don't you want to go to college.
