You might have a condition called Vertigo- don't worry, it won't kill you. Vertigo is usually associated with a problem in the inner ear balance mechanisms, in the brain, or with the nerve connections between these two organs. Vertigo can be a symptom of an underlying harmless cause, Vertigo can also be brought on suddenly through various actions or incidents, such as skull fractures, sudden changes of blood pressure, or as a symptom of motion sickness while sailing, riding amusement rides or in a vehicle. Get it checked out- or read up about it with my source

If it's a sudden thing, then the ER is a very good idea. Otherwise, I would suspect diabetes, low blood pressure, mild dehydration, or mild malnutrition.
You might want to get someone else to drive though: I would hate for you to experience a dizzy spell and end up in a wreck.
Good luck!

Couple of questions. Is you heart racing or just pounding harder than usual? Do you have any pain in your chest or left arm? have you had any headaches in this before or since this has started? Are you having any trouble breathing? If you answer yes to any of these question I would say go to the ER tonight or see your Doc first thing in the morning. If the answers are no, I would still schedule and appointment soon. Until you see a doctor I would suggest that you stay away from caffiene and sugar and drink plenty of water.

i would get in to see a dr asap. it could be several different things. i was going threw that at the dr's office they took my sugar right away an found out my sugar was toooo low
oh yeah also make sure you have a candy bar or something with sugar on you at all times if you have hypoglycemia like i do then that would be the best thing for you because as you feel it starting eat the sweets and you should notice a difference with in 10 min. but you still need to see your doctor and tell them about what you are experianceing

Hi! I don't know for sure but if you're generally a pretty healthy person, its' probably related to anxiety. I have generalized anxiety disoder and panic disorder and that was always one of my main symptoms. If I were you I'd go to the e.r.if you feel you need to just to be safe but I wouldn't be suprised if it was just anxiety. Anything particularly stressful would cause it! If you find out that's what it is and need any support, feel free to contact me. Good luck!

I wonder if the dizziness represents transient hypoglycemia (insulin surge after eating, dropping of blood sugar, etc..) Dont worry yourself too much until you find out :)
