To overturn our driver responsibility tax. That little law raises a $65 seat belt ticket to a $3315 ticket (true story) here in Michigan.

I am not sure about nationally, but I would like to see a bill preventing companies from allowing you to run up a bill until it's at a point noone can pay it, presented to a state legislature. For example, my friends daughter unknowingly ran up the phone bill to $1200 in a month. (Apparently their new plan charges extra to call cell phones) The phone company apparently didn't find that strange even though they have had this phone for over twenty years and this has never happen before. Not a call or anything, there should be some trigger for abnormal behaviour.

there are a number of people who're certainly able to springing up knowledgeable judgements. although, there are maximum of others who're no longer. To be completely truthful, i think of it can be a mistake to place it to a pair style of national vote. a lot is at stake right here, and various of human beings in this u . s . a . do no longer understand the intricacies and complexities of economics, economic coverage and so on. yet i'm going to tell you some thing, this legislations could desire to on no account have been composed interior the 1st place. If I have been helpful that the human beings could desire to shoot this element down, i could exchange my answer on your question.

no more control of any substances, complete drug legalization.
we need to ruin the bad guys who profit from the high price of drugs, drugs that are expensive because they are illegal.
Jails that are bursting at the seams with drug related offenders,
80% chance that the mug case, the burglar case, the auto theft or the murder you hear about is drug related.
Society has a lot of blame to share for the state of affairs they are imposing the prohibition that fuels this infernal cycle of violence.

For the next 4 years in order to pass a new law, one old law must be removed.

Personally, I would like to see "Abstain" added to all election ballots. Right now, you can just choose not to vote for a particular election if you do not like any of the candidates. This basically has no influence in the election. Abstain would allow you to show that you didn't care for any of the candidates, but your vote could still be counted.

One that funds stem cell research, one for making abortions legal, and one that says that every pharmacy must provide emergency contraceptives and birth control to any woman, despite the owner's beliefs. Also, one saying that gay mairrage is legal. There's a lot more, but these are the main things on my list.

Something reforming the tax code, lowering the drinking age to where all adults can drink, and a bill making a national primary day.
