i am a skinny guy about 5ft 10in and i have a probelm with my jeans. At my upper leg, the jeans look really wide especially when i standing with my feet side by side. They upper part of the jeans seem to have a big curve right at my upper leg and i think it looks really bad. i am not sure why this keeps on occuring. Do i have they wrong type of jeans? to long? to short? to wide?

Maybe you have been buying the wrong size, or the wrong fit for your body. Try going to the Buckle http://www.buckle.com and trying on different styles and sizes of jeans. Also, you could do the same at Nordstrom. I suggest the brand 7 For All Mankind, simply because it fits well, and is of the highest quality. They are typically $150-$250, so I'll include some links of jeans on sale.

It sounds like to me, my friend, you do have the wrong kind of jeans. I would highly recommend sticking with a slim fit jean. Stay away from the relaxed fit or loose fit. I think you will be much happier with the way the slim fits look. Give it a try. ; )

With the way they curve at the upper leg they sound like womens jeans. Try for a slim fit.
Good luck!

The jean style must be a wider cut. Go for the straight cut. Anything natural or relaxed cut, will be a wider leg. Go cigarette leg, straight leg. That should solve the problem.

Try asking the gay guy that works at Old Navy (or wherever you shop). He'll know.
