Today, there was some bad weather, and I ended up getting into an accident. I drove over a curb and rammed into a fire hydrant. I don't want to see if its driveable until the weather gets nicer, but I was wondering if any one had any idea about how much it would cost to repare my car. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Also since I am under 18 I only have liability insurance.

It is going to depend on the car, the speed of the collision, and how unlucky you are. If you just bumped the hydrant, you may have only done minor damage! If you hit it with some velocity, you could have done thousands of dollars in damage!

With a bit more information, I may be able to give you a better idea of the cost!!

Cost is based on type of car as well as the amount of damage.

If you really want an answer to such a silly question, you must provide the details. Most body shops will provide free estimates.

Isn't it obvious whether or not it is drivable?

Is the car still on the curb and wrapped around the stand pipe? If so you will be fined and sued if a nearby house catches fire and your car is still in the way.

Ab-sol-UTE-ly NOT! He makes quite enough money to replace the fire hydrant. Take up a collection to help the homeless instead. They need it more than wealthy Tiger Woods, right?

Assess each thing that needs to be replaced and write it down.Call a salvage yard to get prices. Then when you are ready attack that puppy and fix it.If the car was mechanically about shot you may want to buy something else.Thats a bum break good luck.

Nobody can answer this question without knowing the specific damage that was done to the car. Not enough info.

i own a repair shop,an there's no way to estimate it without seeing it,that's one of those things that you have to actually look at it and see if it done any other damage to it,it could have put a wrinkle in one side of the frame of it,,just right off id probably guess it to be around 2000 bucks,,this is just a guess i have nothing to go on here ,good luck,i hope this help,s.
