mp3 player problem!...?

i have this mp3 player that is like an ipod its good at the beginning but after 3 or 4 days when i play the songs it stops after 10 or 15 seconds and moves on to a new song. i have to play with the menu to make it keeps going. any ideas why thats happening and how i can stop it?
