Aquarius With Capricorn:
The confidant Capricorn may prove to be too much for the nimble and elusive Aquarius. The hard-to-get approach drives Capricorn crazy, but in a strange way they love it! Aquarius could find Capricorn a little to serious at times, and Capricorn may conclude that Aquarius is a little too "free spirited". Capricorn is always looking for quality in romance and Aquarius may be lacking in that department. The relationship is best for a short-term romance and friendship will most likely be the end result. Capricorn does not like the interest that Aquarius shows to other people. Aquarius doe not like confinement or restriction at all, and may fly the coop to go out into the world to find something more suitable. These two make a very doubtful combination. There is a huge difference in values and personality here. The organized Capricorn and the never organized Aquarius will clash in this department. Too many other differences as well and unless you have other compatible aspects in your birth charts, don't expect a long lasting affair.

Love & Blessings
Milly

As an Aquarius woman, I find Capricorn men totally fascinating. That controlling/domineering side of theirs is so different than my nature that it ends up being a real turn on! Plus, all the ones I've met have a kooky sense of humor once they open up. Unfortunately, I haven't yet found one who could really appreciate my offbeat Aquarian ways....no regrets about trying though!

I'm an Aquarian female who has dated a couple of Capricorn men. They were nice guys but I quickly found them to be a downer for my free spirited Aquarian nature. Capricorn men seem to want a domesticated, submit to your man woman and the last thing I am is domesticated and I'll be darned if I take a submissive role to make any man happy.

I am a true text book case Aquarian and I too have dated a Capricorn with little success. I found our conversations to be thorough, extensive and intellectual (which is a must for me), but they were still viewed as a "contest" by my Capricorn partner or he ALWAYS had to have the last word in those conversations.
Decisions that he made were always one way or no way at all. He never had an in between choice or allowed for alternative views of discussion.
BUT!!.... there was some good points to our relationship......
He was very stable and reliable, trustworthy, honest and romantic.
Even though we loved eachother, to me everything seemed like a battle. Allthough our relationship didnt make it romantically.... (like a true aquarian) 8 years later after our break up we are the best of friends.
Here's some info I found:
Both of you invest a lot of time in work and career and your talents and interests complement each other nicely. Capricorn brings practicality, objectivity, persistence, reliability, and tenacity, while Aquarius brings greater ingenuity, sensitivity to current trends, and awareness of the complexities and intricacies inherent in any situation, and the ability to reach out to a lot of people. A problem in your relationship is that it may become very focused on outer things and not enough on other things, allowing you to become a bit detached and aloof from each other, and the domestic and romantic aspect of your relationship could e weak. Hopefully both of you have other astrological factors (which would be discussed elsewhere in this report) to provide warmth, emotional sensitivity, and romantic attraction to your relationship.

Your emotional needs and deeply ingrained attitudes are often at odds. Aquarius has a very independent nature, and resists being dictated to by Authority, society, convention, or custom. The urge to break from the past, embrace the new and different, and to change things is part of Aquarius's makeup. Capricorn, on the other hand, cherishes tradition and is far more cautious about venturing into unknown territory or changing the standard, tried-and-true ways of doing things. Aquarius tends toward contemporary, progressive, or "alternative" ways of doing things. Capricorn is philosophically liberal, emotionally there is a very cautious, conservative element that is disinclined to take risks in either emotional or spiritual ways.

Also, Aquarius craves freedom and will never be completely domesticated or possessed, while Capricorn is very responsible, dedicated, and committed, and may not fully appreciate Aquarius's free spirit.

Both of you can have difficulty letting your feelings and emotions flow. Aquarius intellectualises rather than feels, and is often unaware of emotional needs (in self or others). Capricorn also represses emotions and is afraid of being vulnerable or dependent.

Living a secure, conventional, predictable life is not high on the priority list for either of you! Both of you are nonconformists and will rebel against being dedicated to or forced into someone else's precast mould. You share a revolutionary spirit, ideals of liberation and freedom, and a tendency to shake people up a bit when you express your true impulses.

Both of you can be very self-willed and difficult to tame or domesticate – there is a wild side to you both. You are apt to appreciate the quirks and the unusual interests and inclinations of one another, which others might find odd or disturbing or too "far out". Together you may not be very settled, but you won't be bored either.

Both of you have a tremendous romantic imagination and feeling for beauty. You also enjoy a certain aura of mystery and/or wish to maintain an idealised image of your beloved. Positively, you seek to see only the good in others, and to forgive their departures from their best selves. Compassion and spiritual understanding are an important part of love for you, and you both seek friends and lovers who have these qualities. Other people may think of both of you as saints or "angels" because of your loving hearts and your kindness.

Sexual attraction to each other, at times, is extremely intense. These sexual feelings tend to be irresistible or obsessive, and difficult to control or even comprehend. Aquarius, especially, feels magnetically attracted or mesmerised by Capricorn. Powerful subconscious emotional drives come into play, and you may become exceedingly attached to one another, as well as very jealous and manipulative at times.

Romantic love for each other is very strong, and there is a very sweet, tender, and romantic quality to your feelings for each other. You also evoke feelings of good will and tenderness in each other. This is a sweet relationship that could easily become a long-lasting one.

Enchantment, dreamy romanticism, and a quixotic vision of one another and yourselves as a couple, will tone your entire relationship. You may try to be your finest selves – the most loving, compassionate, giving and devoted of friends to one another – and thus set yourselves up for a fall from that very high pedestal!

Nevertheless, in many ways you do bring out the more refined and beautiful qualities in each other, and certainly this is part of what drew you together. At least from time to time, you will have glimpses of paradise with each other.

Yours is an intellectual relationship, among other things. Exchanging thoughts, studying together, sharing information, talking and bantering, turning one another on to new books or ideas, sparking one another's curiosity and interest in the world – all of these are important aspects of your relationship. A certain detachment and the ability to think about and talk about what is going on between you are also highlighted. Put simply, becoming more conscious or more informed and educated is a significant reason the two of you are drawn together.

Fantasy and imagination pervade your relationship, and if the two of you have some creative channels to express this though, it can be an enriching aspect of your togetherness.

Inevitably, however, at times the two of you will misunderstand, distort, embellish, or confuse what the other person is trying to convey. You must try to be absolutely explicit and unambiguous with one another. You may make assumptions, or believe that you expressed yourself clearly enough, only to discover your partner never got the message. If you merely imply, suggest, or hope the other person can intuit your thoughts, a lot of confusion and mistrust will arise between you – especially when dealing with practical matters and mundane reality.
