It depends on what I'm looking for or why I'm in the store in the first place. If I'm after a particular thing, I look for it first, doesn't matter if it is on sale or not. If I'm just shopping in general, I hit the sale rack first.

If I'm in a hurry, I go straight to the clearance rack. If I have time, I look at the regular sections first and then go to the clearance rack.

Clearance first if it's a shoe store. Whatever catches my eye first when I'm shopping for clothes or anything else but I do make sure I check the clearance rack before I leave.

Clearance section is always first! Then, you check out the other stuff, then after that, you go buy what you came for or leave with on your finds!
