I have a friend who has told me there are some great paying jobs available for Americans, and English speakers in general in Dubai, especially if you have a BA or above. Anyone know about the job market for English-speaking college grads in Dubai?

this place is no different then the rest of the world. the pay scales depend on ur qualification and experience. dont think just y being from west and a graduate u will get very good salaries. the salaries r preety good here for start but u have to prove urself to get better pakages.
besides every tom dick and harry can speak english here. so dont depend on that for getting better then others. yes what is plus point is that u know good arabic too with english if u r western citizen

Well all i know is that my gets paid a lot of money in the accounting firm. If you speak english thats an added bonus. However i would advise you to visit Dubai and do some research of your own. On top of that its a fantastic country and the money you earn is tax free.
