I would not recommend any of the A list brands as a first choice for beginners. Macanudo, Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo, Ashton, Fuentes are cigars with more definitive flavors and should not be used as practice. If you do smoke the wrong first cigar, it may turn you off to the whole idea. Don't waste money and good cigars if you don't know what you're doing. The cigar brand I had in mind, which was already mentioned, is Helix. The ring gauge I would suggest is the X542 corona. So easy a baby could smoke one. Also, moderately priced compared to the big brands. Start there and first learn how to smoke a cigar. Then sample the pricier ones to see exactly what you're looking for in a cigar.

No, I do not smoke cigars. No, I wouldn't have a problem because my husband smokes cigars.
