how long can a teenager around 14 usually wait until they absolutely have to go to the bathroom any records? ive held it for about 24 hours but almost peed myself...i have a sore that stings so bad that i cry everytime i go to the bathroom so i try to limit going to the bathroom to once a day....anyone know how long someone normal can hold it?

It is not healthy for anyone to hold it that long. doing so can cause kidney infections amoung other things. if it hurts that bad that it brings you to tears you need to see a doctor.

Please go see your doctor - if you have a sore you should have that checked out. Also, you shouldn't be holding your urine in for that long! You can end up with kidney stones, an even worse infection in the bladder, or the urine could push up into the kidneys themselves. You should drink at least 2 litres of fluid a day.

this is really bad for your health you should never hold your wee in it can do damage to your kidneys and you bladder itself causing infections and things.
if it stings when you pee tahts probably because your not peeing enough or have a water infection id drink more fluids an see a doc
