thanks everyone for yor advice on my prev question, does a show have to be blood tinged ive just been to the ladys room and found a rather large stringy blob afterwards not had anything like that before, oh ps this is my 3rd baby. again any advice would help thanks.

That is your mucous plug. It's called "show" when it's blood tinged. Some people never have "show." I didn't, but my plug came out like yours did, in pieces. It doesn't mean labor is imminent. It could be today or a couple weeks from now. Good Luck!

I lost my mucus plug over a couple weeks with no blood in it. When it was about a day before I went into labor I lost a large portion that was blood tinged and the next day my water broke. You may just be in the early stages of losing your mucus plug which can be days or weeks before you deliver or you may not have the bloody show, not all women do. Good luck!

That is your mucus plug or bloddy show. Don't worry too much, having this does not mean you will go into labor in 5 minutes. It could go on for weeks after you lose it. I lost mine about 1 1/2 weeks ago and I'm still pregnant!

Its just your mucus plug. Dont worry it could be weeks before you have that baby.
