help with final fantasy 3 ds?

how come i cant save? i have died so many times and now getting pissed off because i have had to kill the turtle thing 3 times what do i do?

If you're still in Altar Cave (where you start out), do this:

1) For a quick and cheap battle, use Antartic Wind on the turtle.

2) Dual Wield Longswords (found in Altar Cave, press X and go to equipment to equip), or have 1 longsword and 1 shield. I prefer dual wield, though.

3) Use a potion when your health gets low.

4) If you don't have all of the above items, you didn't explore the cave enough.

After that, you will go to the world map. YOU CAN ONLY SAVE ON THE WORLD MAP, so do it there.

You can also quicksave, but you can't (I think, never tried it) reload from the save, so get it right the first time after you continue. Quicksaving (on the X menu, bottom) is for times when you have to go somewhere without the DS, but you happen in the middle of a dungeon. I don't reccomend quicksaving yet, just follow my other tips and save on the world map.

Once you go out to world map, go to Ur (first town to south), find Arc, and then talk to the old guy in a room in the blue roofed-house. Proceed even more south to Kazus and talk to the people in the Inn, then head out directly west to the Airship. Good luck from there!
