The moon is an optical illusion created by NASA so the astronauts would have some place to go. There is some speculation that Walter Conkrite and Al Gore are in on the conspiracy, although no one knows why.
Now, all astronauts are sent to the moon to be buried after they die for a virtual funeral. Yes, the waving American flag is an optical illusion too.

Most likly it was found by someone not from earth or by a deep space probe going boldly forth where no remlakian has gone before. unless you think only humans are capable of discovery.or like nascar drivers who think they all discoverd the left turn.
