I go camping every fall in West Virginia. Omg Ralph..... it is gorgeous! The New River Valley Gorge is just unbelievable. To hike up the gorge and look down into the river.......... wow....... you feel like you are at the top of the world. To actually take a raft down the river and ride the rapids...............wow........ such a rush like you've never experienced!! The huge boulders showing that this river is even older than the NILE. (no joke........ true fact!!) It simply is the most beautiful place we have on the east coast!!

depends where you live, how long you wish to travel to get there (esp. if kids are going with you)
Now for the best natural beauty, I don't think Hugh Hefner's place has camping for the General Public

Well... I was told that Chiapas in Mexico is really beautiful and you can find a lot of nature there. I've never been there, though...
