I work Full time to support him while he is in school. All I ask is that he do the dishes. I'll even give him a massage at the end of the day. Instead, he just plays warcraft all day long.

Men are sometimes like children they have to be told instead of hinting or asking you have to tell him that you need him to throw out the trash or wash dishes. I always tried asking and it would never get done or write down the things that you expect to be done just explain that you had a long day and you are exhausted and need him to do the following...... it works instead of stressing yourself out and trying to take it all on on your own have lift a helping hand!!! Good luck

Thats the million dollar question! lol. I'm very surprised when women actually figure out how to get their hubbies to hep around the house. but maybe if you divide the house chores amongst each other. Like, he do the dishes, you do the cooking and every week, you takes turns to take out the trash. I don't know what to tell you. I am a housewife and I generally do most of that stuff, it's only fair because I'm home all day and my husbands always out working. Good luck!

If he is going to school, then he has homework. How is he getting his homework done if he's playing WOW?

Did you know the expansion pack was just released? He may be so involved in the two new worlds that he won't hear a word you say.

You need to unplug the computer - but for heaven's sake don't do it while he's playing - and sit him down for a long, honest talk.

Good luck.

geez some guys should be so lucky. i worked too much to make a good living and lost my gf because of it. what else could I do? I would say cut the cable and hire a housekeeper, or only do the dishes when he is ready for sex. something like that. If it wasn't for you he'd be at his mom's doing the same thing. How and why guy's don't realize what they have is beyond me.

I thought you said he was in school? Whats with the warcraft? He sounds like a lasy selfish a$$. Make a log of how much time he actually spends doing that for 2 weeks. Then delete ALL games from the computer. Tell him to get it together or you are getting a divorce. It sounds like once he gets out of school he is going to ditch you or at least not return the favor.

Sounds like you've got more of a problem than having married a lazy guy.

If he's got time to play Warcraft all day, he's got time to get a PT job and help support his educational efforts, instead of making you do all the work.

It's nice that you're willing to support him, but it sounds like you're being taken for granted. You're going to have to have a convo with him and your expectations of him as your husband and as a man.

My ex was on the computer all the time and not watching the kids or doing much else. I took the thing to work so he couldn't use it while he was home. He finally got the point.

Quit with the massages, he should be giving you one.
Quit being his mom and be his wife. Stop washing his clothes, picking up after him..... let it sit and let the dishes pile up...
It will drive you crazy, but don't give in.
Go shopping or for coffee after work, don't rush home to cook and clean.
Let him wonder why you aren't picking up.
The problem here, is you were doing everything, he has no reason to want to do anything, cause it's done.
Slack off......
quit being the maid and quit being the masseuse....

You have to really set your foot down and make him see the big picture! Tell him that he needs to do it...or else. If that doesn't work, dump the guy! He is obviously not interested in the best for you too, and you need to get someone who appreciates you! Sing him the Beyonce song..to the left to the left!

The same way he gets you to do house work: by not doing it.
