I just came back from the Mall with my girlfriend and we went to see DreamGirls and i was completley blown away. I thought Jennifer Hudson was spectacular. Don't you agree? I hope she wins more awards. What did you think of it?

I went to see dream girls the day after christmas and it was so good that we clapped in the middle of the movie when jennifer hudson finished singing.i didnt want for her to stop singing she was so good.I plan on seeing it again one day.I think its good that a male actually liked the movie cause most say that its horrible and the time jennifer sang was the worst 5 minutes they encountered

Yes, I've seen it. I liked the movie. There were times when I felt the singing wasn't necessary. My favorites in the movie were Jennifer and Eddie. I didn't watch American Idol..still don't, but to hear Jennifer and listen to Fantasia...I'm shocked she was kicked off and Fantasia stayed.
But I've digressed. Anyhow, Jennifer was excellent! The one scene that Beyonce stood out on was when she sang Listen.
The movie was excellent in my opinion. I don't watch award shows, but I do hope Jennifer gains a lot of recognition and get the accolades she deserves.

this is by using the fact Beyonce is a terrible actress. directors are purely utilising her for her famous individual skill and to sell their video clips. She thinks they are hiring her for her so called appearing abilities. She is so clueless. besides, devoid of Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Hudson, Dreamgirls might have completely sucked.

Yes, I liked it. But the book written by one of the ex Supremes is better. Motown really blew it when it moved from Detroit. They found all that great music there and is still there. But when Motown moved to Los Angeles, that's the real sad part.
Now everything is canned, electronically souped up, made to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

I haven't seen it although I really enjoyed the Mad parody of it...
I have seen Jennifer Hudson in a few clips and interviews and I am very impressed with her...

I saw it and I also thought it was really good. I never knew Jennifer Hudson could blow like that....she really has some skills and Simon was apparently totally wrong.

The movie was good, but I don't feel that it lived up to the hype. The integration of the music into the storyline wasn't as seemless as it could have been and at time seemed a bit awkward.

yes, i saw it. Jennifer Hudson is fantastic, but that one 19 minute solo that she had didn't really suit me.

that was the longest damn movie i ever saw in my life. i thought it would never end. every damn song sounded like the one they sang before it and her singing a 10 minute song that made you bleed from the ears was not necessary.
