I don't think it is a good idea to ever force anything, that should be up to the individual...However, people should realize that in an overpopulated world, VOLUNTARY population reduction is always a good thing, and there is nothing noble or enlightened or moral about having lots of children when, this planet is already too crowded!!!! I really think it would help, not just global warming, but many of the problems of this world!!! Babies don't do much damage, but when they grow up, they start doing the same things that all the rest of us do, and the more of us there are to do these things, the worse these things can harm the world!!! By the way, I am one of the human rights people!!!

Look carefully at the Chinese population. They have had mandatory one child per couple with devastating effect.
I don't think reducing the world population would be an effective way of reducing global warming. Peddling your bicycle down to the local storage instead of driving your car would have a better affect. Putting in solar cell lights to cut down on pollution by manufacturing electricity is another good way. I could go on and on.

NO. Global Warming is caused by Co2 in the atmosphere. It keeps the heat from escaping the planet. I guess having only one child could help, but only if you believe That all the stupid people in the world that STILL don't care about global warming were the second or third born. Hey maybe we should check into this.

NO. You cannot ask a question like this, hypothetically or otherwise, without being jumped by us human rights people.
The problem with global warming is that the US is not the main polluter in the world.
The polluters are the same nations that don't obey their labor laws.

I don't think it would help. In fact, I think we are already past the point of no return. Our planet will die and all the inhabitants on it will too.
